Photoshooting at Colmar Tropicale with Edmund Tham

Friday, February 13th, 2009 at 15:18

Photoshooting at Colmar Tropicale with Edmund Tham was really a great experience. The first thing he asked, which language we prefer to speak. Of course, I chose my mother tongue, Cantonese. Next we were introduced to his colleague Edmund Lee. Not to confuse us, Edmund Tham called him KY instead. KY told me not only they share the same name, but also the same birthday (same day and month). I have the feeling these 2 are going to make a great team. Read more…

Lunch @ Le Blason

Friday, February 13th, 2009 at 14:36

Phew….after 2 hours of photoshoot, we were so much relieved that we can enjoy eating as much as we want. No need to concerned about not able to fit into the suit and gown. The ambience of Le Blason was really great. The tables were decorated with flowers and petals of roses. There were also singers performing songs of different languages. English, Malay, Chinese and even French!(if not mistaken). Read more…

Makeup and Hairdo for the Photoshoot!

Friday, February 13th, 2009 at 11:49

The first activity of the day was makeup and hairdo. Out of the 4 couples, 2 couples were having the photo shoot in the morning session. We were 1 one of the couples, thus we have undergone a makeover by professionals from Shu Uemura and Centro Hair Salon. The ladies got the priorities, as there requires more time to be transformed. It takes about close to 2 hours, for the makeup artist, Michelle from Shu Uemura to beautify her. The outcome was great. Meanwhile, the hairstylist, Kay from Centro helped to curl her ermm…real human hair. Well these hairs are definitely real; however, these hairs don’t belong to Mindy. They were used to seamlessly attach to her Mindy’s real hair. Read more…

Wednesday, February 11th, 2009 at 09:40

Waking up at 5 a.m. in the morning, have been one of the most painful thing I have ever done since college years. With all the excitements on my mind for the photography session with Edmund Tham, I only managed to grab less than 4 hours of sleep.

Luckily, I stay not too far away from Berjaya Times Square and managed to get there in 10 minutes. At 5.30 a.m. even the school buses is not on the roads yet. Once we arrived the lobby of Berjaya Time Square, we quickly went to the waiting area where we get to sit on comfy sofas, while waiting for the vans to arrive. Read more…

Gown Fitting Session - Sponsors

Saturday, January 24th, 2009 at 21:12

In this blog, you will get to see the people who have brought us LoveMeDo! We were greeted by Elisa upon arrival. After a short while waiting for other couples to show up, Elisa starts the briefing on the contest and sponsors who have brought us the Gown Fitting session. Shortly after that, Han Ni gave a speech on LoveMeDo. It’s great to know that LoveMeDo have fans all the way from Taiwan, Japan, Korea and Australia. Han Ni also mentioned they love contest so much, some of the fans actually requested to have the same contest in their country. Somehow I have a feeling that LoveMeDo is able to do the same what “American Idols” have done. We can have our very own “Malaysian LoveMeDo “, duplicated to “Australian LoveMeDo”. Read more…
