Noir, an authentic oriental boutique was chosen by Love Me Do organizers as the clothes sponsor for our big day. Noir is special as it encompassing oriental feel yet very trendy in their fashion. Every piece is unique with some eastern touch and western style. We were given personal consultation by Paul, who knows exactly how to dress us to the best. Every piece that we tried on is very comfortable and we find ourselves giggling as we have not tried such fashion before this. We finally picked the set that matched by Paul as it really looks good on both of us. Thanks for your professional advices, Paul ~! Read more…

Lifetime Experience Wedding Planning - Week 1

Wednesday, March 25th, 2009 at 09:58

The very next morning after we were announced as the winner, I woke up and thought to myself, so is this for real? We are getting married in one and a half month time? And it’s going to be a wonderful beach wedding? Am I still dreaming?

The first thing that we did was to call up our friends and relatives to inform them about the news. None of them were surprise for the speed of our wedding, but overjoyed to know that we’ve won the contest. Some of them already knew it as they have been checking on the website everyday. We received many well wishes from our family and friends that really touched us with their support. So much that we wanted to invite everyone to attend the wedding, but there were only limited space. However, we will share the photos and our experience and hopefully the joy would be shared by everyone. Read more…

Kel and Kim Thanks You

It all started when we were in the university library searching for some information online. Love Me Do website has attracted our attention since it is carried out as an online popularity game (online reality show) and it is the first of its kind in the region. We decided to give it a try as this may give us a platform to know each other better before our marriage. More importantly, we hope by joining the competition will provide us with the chance to spend more time with each other. We had never ever thought that we will progress so far. Read more…

Valentine’s Day Special

Wednesday, February 18th, 2009 at 01:34

I have never celebrated any Valentine’s Day nor received any flowers before I met Kelvin. During those Valentine’s days, I would stay in my room, listening to love songs from the radio and start to imagine things. I once imagined having someone cycling to my house with one stalk of red rose. Then he would bring me out with his bicycle, just like what you would have seen in the Chinese movie “Comrades: Almost a Love Story 甜蜜蜜” (1996). For me, even simplest thing would make me happy.

Ever since I have been together with dear, he has made sure that I celebrate each and every Valentine’s Day with him. He never fails to buy my flowers and make me happy. Dear promised me that my Valentine day experience will be different from to those before I met him. And I am so glad that I’ve met him. :) Read more…

Rushing to KL for one day trip was indeed tiring as we need to wake up as early as 6am just to make it on time to catch the earliest bus. Even though the traveling schedule was hectic, we always find it fun as we are spending time together. The best thing about this competition is that I would have more time with dear and we are doing something together. You’ll understand how much I feel if your other half is a frequent traveler.
