Grand Beach Wedding Decorations

Monday, June 1st, 2009 at 09:23

Before we go and describe our Grand Walk-in experience, we would like to take the opportunity to use this blog to describe the decoration setups for the Grand Beach Wedding. A million THANKS to Confetti (the main decor of the whole events) for the concept & decorations and Berjaya Langkawi Beach & Spa Resort for coordinating the decoration setup effort!

The overall concept for the Beach Wedding ceremony is to incorporate the eco-friendly, natural setting and yet elegant decorations. The whole setups are using everything green, earth and nature-inspired (i.e. beach and jungle) elements, which is what Berjaya Langkawi Beach & Spa Resort is made of. The Gazebo is decorated by sea-shells, tropical-flowers and plants, while the aisle is decorated by sand, leaves, orchids and banana tree elements. The seats are made of tree trunks, and covered by leaves. Very Malaysian and very tropical feel indeed!

The introduction for the Beach Wedding decorations are captured by Razor TV. In the video, there’s also an interview with Desmond Khoo, the main in-charge decor from Confetti.

Let’s take a look at the master pieces and all the little efforts spent on the Beach Wedding decorations.

My sister originally wanted to have a beach wedding like this, but chose a marquee wedding instead since we cannot find a good beach for the event. We have yet to see what comes out of it.
